Daddy Daughter Masquerade

Peyton's school put on a fun little daddy-daughter dance earlier this month, the theme masquerade. Peyton was soooo excited to go, which is kind of an understatement. She was really really REALLY looking forward to it. Wes planned a little dinner date with her before the dance using a certificate to BJ's she got for a perfect score on a math test and then headed to the dance where they met up with some friends to dance the night away. She came home so excited and with stars in her eyes. Her favorite part was the train all the girls did for about 3 songs. She loves doing trains now too no matter where we are. Usually she and Jovie walk around the house doing a train, and while we were beach camping this past weekend she started a few trains all over the sand with her cousins. I can honestly say that while she loved the dance I think she had fun simply because she was dancing with her daddy. That girl is 100% a daddy's girl, which makes this mommy a little jealous, but I can't blame her at the same time.

While those two were dancing the night away Jovie and I had our own little daughter mommy date night. We painted nails, curled hair, made dinner and then went out for frozen yogurt just the 2 of us. I think both my girls are pretty awesome company to be honest.
