How To Make A Candy Cane

Every year Logan's Candy in Ontario does a candy cane demonstration at Christmas time. It gets pretty crazy, so again we try to go early in the season. We went even though poor Peyton had been sick all day. She had been sick the day before and was running a fever the day we went. We went thinking she was acting better and happier, but on the way she just got hotter and hotter. Poor girl was pretty miserable, barely even able to muster a smile for us. We asked if she wanted to walk the street Euclid to look at the big nativity scenes, which is what we initially planned or just go home. She wanted to walk, but refused to get out of the stroller. Seriously, poor little girl. On the way home the kids were so hungry and about to fall asleep so we knew we had to get dinner. We went to Taco Bell where she ate and then promptly laid on Wes' lap almost about to fall asleep. Very unlike her. So, we had a good time, but I can't say it was the best timing.
