A Real Family Feud

Last Tuesday before the fam. left on vacation a few of us went to an audition in L.A. to be on the game show Family Feud. We had a blast!!! The group consisted of Annette (Mama) Todd, Danny Todd, Ned and Heidi Broberg and Wes and I. At the audition they had 2 families compete against each other in a mock game. Both families would have 1 game they would play, and the other they would attempt to steal... you know how it works. Well, we played the first and won when they couldn't steal. The other game they played we were able to steal when they didn't get all of the answers. So basically, we rocked. Wes and Ned even had "a moment" as they call it. During the audition they tell you to be extra happy, silly, and animated. So, as we won the second game we all started cheering, clapping, and jumping. During this time, Wes and Ned found each other bouncing on the same step and cheering. They said they both just starting cracking up knowing how goofy they looked.

After the audition we headed over to the O.G. "Roscoes" for some chicken and waffles we had all heard about. I have always wanted to try this, and was not disappointed. It was so good, and I highly recommend it.

We've also received a postcard saying we will be on the show, we just don't know when as of now. I will post when we have a taping date. :)

Fulmer Wedding

I know this was a long time ago, but I just didn't have time to write about it when it happened. On June 6th, Wes and I were able to attend Cody Fulmer's wedding reception. It was at the Mission Inn in Riverside. As most people who have ever had the opportunity to attend a Fulmer wedding know it is not an event to be missed. The food was spectacular, everyone who was part of the wedding looked fabulous, and ALL the dancing was quite an event. Needless to say, Wes and I had a GREAT time!!! It was also nice to have both of our families there with us. Thanks for another fun party Fulmers, I am sure there are MANY more to come ;)

The Year of a Million Graduations.

So 2008 has just been crazy with college gradumations.

First my brother graduated with his 2nd Masters degree from the University of Redlands on May 22nd... yes the infamous day of the tornado. He received a masters of Arts in Educational Administration and his Tier I Administrative Services Credential. He also received Administrative student of the year and his name was recognized in the program. Wow...Good for Danny boy. :)

Next came Ned's graduation. His was Saturday, June 14th. He graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with his Masters degree in Psychology, emphasis in Family & Marriage Therapy. Because his graduation didn't start until 7:30, Heidi also threw him a rockin' surprise party earlier that day at English Springs Park. She went all out with GREAT food and lots of people (mostly family). :)

And, the 3 Graduates

Then, finally it was my turn. I graduated yesterday, which was Sunday, June 15th from Cal State San Bernardino University. I received my Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Mass Communications. The ceremony was fine... if you don't mind an hour of babbling. When they started reading names my was about 20 minutes into it. As soon as I got back to my seat, I grabbed my bags and headed for the exit. My family was able to meet me outside then. I am so happy to be done... FOR-EV-ER. Thanks to everyone who helped me out!

Happy Papi Day!!!

Happy father's day to the main men in my/our lives.
First,

My Daddio- aka Boppy.

Thanks for letting me watch power rangers in your classroom and buying me my Trini watch. Thanks for taking Hayley and I to the Lion King and other movies during the summer even when you acted like you were never going to. Not so much thanks, but I'll always remember you singing "the song that never ends" the entire way home from Magic Mountain (seriously... the whole time). You supported me through everything, and believed I could do great things. You have had such an influence in my life, and I'll always love you for it.

Second, Freddy- aka Al Aleman.

Thank you for raising such a spectacular son. Thank you for being a loving dad and coach. Thank you for taking the time ( and not to mention money) for Wes and you to play countless games of golf together. Thank you for carrying Wes to bed on the nights he fell asleep on the couch. Thank you for believing in Wes more than anyone in the world every has or has the possibilities to. You really see the best in all of your children, and we all love you for it!

And finally, to the father of my future children- aka Weston to the B.

Thank you for being the absolute GREATEST husband I could ever have asked for. You are so the yin to my yang, my Clyde, my prince charming, etc., etc., etc, (I didn't really wanna think of anymore cute couply things.) You are the best uncle, and I know you will be the best father. You are kind, thoughtful, smart, super-d-duper funny, and keep my head level when I go crazy. I can't wait to start an eternal family with you. I LOVE YOU more than I could ever write.

Happy Birthday Ella Mae Broberg!

Little miss Ella Mae had her birthday Saturday. It was such a fun 2 year old birthday party, with swimming, bbq, presents, and you know our family, a pinata! A few of her... (um, Heidi and Ned's) friends were also able to come and join in the festivities. She is just too cute for words!

The Birthday Cup"cakes":

She blew for about 1 1/2 minutes.

She had her cake... and ate it too

Wes and I got her a Dora magic coloring paper.

All of the kids getting a good look at what they weren't going home with.

Me and lil' Claire Bear.

Carter was desperate to be back in the pool. :)

Over all... I'd say a lot of fun.
